Diane M. Petitt

Diane M. Petitt, 83, of 345 West Washington St., Bradford, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026, at Bradford Manor surrounded by family.
 
Born on May 31, 1943, in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late  Pete Paul and Mary Katherine (Matthews) DePalma.
 
Diane was a graduate of St. Bernard School. She then earned her Cosmetology License for Continental Beauty School in Olean, NY. She started Diane Troutman's Beauty Salon which she operated for over 60 years. 
 
On June 12, 1964, she married Donald Troutman who died October 15, 1989. On April 27, 1994, she married Timothy J. Petitt who survives. 
 
Diane was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion, Vets Club, Zonta Club and Eagles.  Diane golfed in the leagues at Pine Acres and was in bowling leagues at Byllye Lanes. She volunteered her time during the Italian Festival & many other civic events. Her most cherished times were spent with her spouse Tim Petitt and their grandchildren who refered to her as Gram and Gram Cracker, and great grandchildren affectionately called her GiGi. Spending time with them was the light in her life. She left a legacy that will live on through those who had the privilege of knowing her.
 
 
Surviving are two daughters, Donita Marie Troutman Cobb her Fiancé Bill Webster, and Deanna Michele Troutman (Billy) Bradford, one son, Donald Matthews (Beth) Troutman, one step daughter, Bridgett Petitt (Rocky) Babola, one step son, Brett (Jeanie) Petitt, four sisters, Paula Kay DePalma Small, Bonnie Lin DePalma Birkis, Terri Ann DePalma (Bill) Leven and Mary Chris DePalma Joseph, two brothers, Peter Paul (Diane) DePalma, and Michael Anthony (Amy) DePalma, one sister-in-law, Ann Yates DePalma, and one brother-in-law, Fred Johnson, nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two on the way and many nieces and nephews. 
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Donald, one sister, Tina Johnson and one brother James DePalma.
 
Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from Noon to 2:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Avenue where at 2:00 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Jay Tennies, Pastor of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverview-Corydon Cemetery.
