Patricia Ann “Pat” Finlan, 91, of Derrick City, peacefully passed away on October 14, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born on March 12, 1935, in DuBois, Pat was the daughter of Mae Deasey and William Dinger.
Pat graduated from Bradford Area High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from the Bradford Hospital School of Nursing, becoming a registered nurse. She devoted her professional life to nursing, providing compassionate care to patients throughout her years of service to the Bradford community.
In October 1956, Pat married Richard Little, with whom she shared five children. Following Richard's passing, she devoted herself to raising her family. In November 1990, she married Kenneth Finlan, and together they shared many happy years and memories until his passing.
Above all, Pat was a devoted mother whose strength and determination shaped the lives of her children. As a mother, she worked tirelessly to provide for her family, often balancing the demands of a nursing career with the responsibilities of raising her children. Through hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance, she created a loving and stable home, teaching by example the values of resilience, compassion, and dedication. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and loved.
Pat will be remembered for her kindness, strength, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was active in her community. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and volunteered with the Auxiliary of the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Diane (Stacy) Benjamin, Judy (Tim Fink) Easterly, and Kathy (Dave) Reid; her sons, Dave (Pam) Little and Mike Little; her stepchildren, Cecelia (John) Prosser, Mark (Mary) Finlan, Rebecca (Russell) Myers, Tim (Gayle) Finlan, and Dan Finlan; her sister, Elaine Houge; grandchildren Nicholas Benjamin, Amber (Mike Cummins) Benjamin, Andrea (Ryan) Hatch, Bryce Benjamin, Eric Little, Jeremy Little, Dalton (McKenzie) Little, Ashton Little, and Sydney Reid; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; her stepson, Gary Finlan; her sister, Linda Newcomer; and her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 1, at 2:00 p.m. at the Limestone Community Center. Family and friends are invited to gather to share memories and honor Pat's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the United Way of the Bradford Area in Pat's memory.
