Sharon L. 'Sherry' Grove

Sharon L. "Sherry" Grove, 64, of 484 Seaward Ave. Bradford, formerly of Limestone, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, at her daughter's residence.
 
Born on December 29, 1949, in Salamanca, NY she was a daughter of the late William Trummer and  Lois (Stern) Lewis.
 
On May 13, 1989 in Bradford she married Hayward P. "Bud" Grove, who died on July 27, 2011.
 
Mrs. Grove was a 1968 graduate of Limestone High School. She had worked at Jordan's Farm, W.R. Case Cutlery, as a waitress at the Bradford Club, the Children's Home of Bradford and baby sat many children in her home.
 
She was a member of the Franklinville VFW, Limestone Fire Department Auxiliary and past president of the Limestone High School Alumni Association.
 
She enjoyed playing bingo, euchre, traveling to the Caribbean with her husband, and was an avid and obnoxious Steelers Fan.
 
Sherry was a proud grandmother, and enjoyed supporting her grandsons sporting events.
 
Surviving is a daughter, Stephanie (Lonny) Packard, of Bradford, two grandsons, Jordan Packard and Sawyer Packard, four  sisters, Candy Dennison,  Rhonda ( Ron) Munday, Niki Case all of Duke Center and Juanita Gancedo of Friendship, three brothers, George (Sherry Blum) Trummer, of Franklinville, Mike (Virginia) Trummer, of Ohio, and Dennis (Joyce) Trummer of Bradford,and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Paulette Williams.
 
At Sherry's request there will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.
 
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Thomas Starzl Transplant Institute, 3459 5th Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15213 or Community Nurses Hospice Fund, 50 Davis, Street Bradford, PA 16701 or the charity of the donor's choice.
