Born September 9, 1937 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Andrew C. and Margaret A. (Disney) Holzwarth. He was a 1955 graduate of Bradford High School.

Along with golf, he was an avid softball player for over 30 years and would love a friendly but aggressive basketball game.  For many years, he was involved with coaching his son's football or baseball team. Uncle Larry was a great guy who will be missed by our whole family. As a child, I remember great 4th of July cookouts with Uncle Larry supplying the fireworks for us to have fun with.
