Donna M. Murphy, 86, of Pocasset, MA, formerly of Bradford, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015, at Cape Heritage Nursing Home, in Sandwich, Mass.

Born July 7, 1928, in Bradford she was a daughter of the late Frederick M. and Esther (Williams) Salisbury.

On November 24, 1961, in Bradford she married Richard J. Murphy who survives.

Mrs. Murphy was a 1946 graduate of Bradford High School. She had been employed at Rider Scott, Zippo Mfg, KOA Speer, and Allegheny Airlines. Mrs. Murphy was an avid music lover and talented musician. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, baking, and playing with her beloved dogs.

In addition to her husband of 53 years she is survived by a son Michael S. (Alice) Murphy of Centerville, Mass, 3 grandchildren, Sean R. Murphy, Shannon K. Murphy and Kyle Jamison, a sister, Anne Clarke, of New London, NH, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Karen M. Murphy.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11:00am in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St. with the Rev. Stacey Fusse,l Rector of the Church of the Ascension officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
