Shirley M Gardner, 80, of 54 Patterson Lane, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born July 14, 1934, in Bradford she was the daughter of the late Arvel and Mae (Newman) Lineman. She was a 1952 graduate of Bradford High School.
On May 1, 1953, she married Keith Duane Gardner, who died on February 26, 1988.
She had been employed at Speers, JC Penny's, Woolworth's and later W.R. Case Cutlery and sons as a honer.
She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, riding motorcycles, 4 wheeling, gardening, picking leeks and going to garage sales.
Surviving are three daughters, Katherine A. Wilcox, Connie J. (Scott) Bryant, and Susanne Gaze all, of Bradford, 3 grandchildren, Duane Gonzalez, Darin Gonzalez and Caitlan Bryant, one great grandson, Anthony Gonzalez, and a close friend Jane Zumstein.
Family will be receiving friends on Friday, May 8, 2015, from 11:00 to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main St. where funeral and committal services will be held at 1:00pm with the Rev. Seth McClymonds, pastor of thr First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
