Clara M. Petitt, 79, formerly of 598 East Main Street, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Bradford Manor.
Born September 16, 1935 in Buffalo, NY she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude C. (Azure) Maile.
She attended schools in the Buffalo, NY area.
On February 19, 1961 in Bradford, she married Raymond C. Petitt, who passed away in May of 1992.
She worked for a time for Goodwill Industries in Bradford.
An avid bingo player, she enjoyed going to area casinos and was an Elvis Presley fan.
She is survived by two daughters, Martha (Dennis) Cawley of Bradford and Shawn (Kurt) Corah, of Emlenton; two sons Raymond (Fran) Petitt, of Salamanca and Richard (the late Eleanor) Petitt, of South Carolina; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Pezone, of Buffalo, NY and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Petitt, who passed away in 2014; a son, Randy Petitt, who passed away in 1979; a sister, Marilyn Cinnotti and two brothers, Harry Maile, Bernard Maile.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 10 AM, Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., South Avenue, with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
