Louise R. Monroe, 71, formerly of 18 Amm Street, passed away, Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport.

Born December 30, 1943, in Smethport, she was a daughter of the late Dorr and Ruth (Penn) Monroe, Sr.

Ms. Monroe worked at Zippo Manufacturing for 26 years, retiring in 1988.

Surviving is a sister Nancy Siekman of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Naomi Monroe.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, June 15, 2015, from 10:00 to 11:00am in the  Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. South Ave., where funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00am with Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes Retired Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
