Victoria J. Taylor, 87, of Lafayette, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015, at The Pavilion at BRMC with her family at her side.
Born November 16, 1927, in Lewis Run, she was a daughter of the late Alessandro and Luigia DelMonego.
On July 24, 1948 in St. Bernard Church, she married Robert L. Taylor who passed away January 11, 2007.
As a young lady, she was employed at the Woolworth's 5 & 10 store on Main Street in Bradford, She was later employed as a cook for several years at the MJ Ryan School in Lafayette. She worked for Jaguar Manufacturing in Smethport until her retirement.
She was an avid doll collector and enjoyed displaying her collection throughout her home. Her other hobbies were sewing, embroidery, coin collecting, flower gardening as well as being an excellent cook.
She was a dedicated member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church in Lewis Run.
She is survived by her four children Joanne (Kevin) Kelley, of Lewis Run, Robert 'Dan' (Edna) Taylor; John L. (the late Linda) Taylor and Janet (Thomas) Musolino, all of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, Ashley (Bijal Patel) Kelley, Danny (Kelly) Taylor, David Taylor, Craig (Cheryl) Taylor, Angela (Robb) Shipman, Mark (Audra Starkweather) Taylor, Lee Michael (Toni) Musolino and Kevin Musolino; nine great grandchildren, Daniel Taylor, Cody and Caitlyn Taylor, McKenna, Parker and Bella Shipman, Aiden Laska, Dominic and LeeAnna Musolino; one sister Lea Miller of Lewis Run; two sisters in law Shirley DelMonego of Bradford and Delores DelMonego of Panama City, FL and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Mario, John, Deno and Albert DelMonego; a sister, Joanne DelMonego; a daughter in law, Linda C. Taylor and a brother in law, Francis 'Bud' Miller.
Family will be receiving friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., East Main St., where funeral and committal services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
