Tony was a super guy and they don’t come much friendlier. I could always count on him for a long conversation - light but yet philosophical and just about any subject imaginable. I am honored to have known him and the memories I have of him will always bring a smile to my face. Thank you Tony for several good years of friendship. My sincerest condolences to all those who loved and will miss him.

We are stunned to hear of Tony's passing. Sadly, we are unable to attend the service but our thoughts and prayers are with you all for this loss. Remembering over 33 odd years of a great friendship with Tony many things stand out. His great smile, sense of humor, congenial personality, his no nonsense zest for life and dedication to family and friends. Tom and Tony were addicted to exercise and along with our lab Barney trained together for many a marathon while we were still in Bradford as well as sharing their love of hunting and fishing. After moving to Wisconsin and most recently Ohio we've kept in touch. Phone calls were infrequent but usually long and hearty conversations but emails were daily. Tom is currently biking Cycle Oregon with our daughter Mary. When I was finally able to reach him last night his first words were "not our Tony, I just got 4 emails from him." Tony was the best. You will be sorely missed my friend. Rest in peace. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to you all.

I first met Tony when he came with Heather to our monthly work teambuilding. I got the pleasure of having dinner with he and Heather and the boys and dogs and now recall with fondness the family stories he told us that night. And I can picture you up in heaven sipping a glass of that boxed red wine :) You were a kind, fun soul Tony and you will be missed on this earth! Heather, my heart is with you at this time and if you need anything I am here for you!

I met Tony about 16 years ago through work. While I never had the chance to work for him, we did have a great friendship. Tony took the time after winter school all those years ago to teach my surveying so I could pass it on my NICE exam. I did pass. I always loved his sense of humor and his kind heart. I last spoke with him at the ASHE picnic this year. Where I got to experience that sense of humor yet again. May you rest in Peace Tony. My thought and prayers are with your family.
— Beth Girardi

Very sad to see this. Tony was one of my favorite people. He used to bring his car to my shop, an old Toyota, I think. My partner said 'Tony Lama, like the boots!' To which Tony replied: 'yeah, but we come over on a boat, not in the trunk of a Chevy'. And just gave a little wry smile. Godspeed my friend, and thoughts and prayers from our house.
