Eleanor A. Jones, 95, a loving mother and grandmother, formerly of 12 North 4th St., passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born October 20, 1920 in Meadville, she was a daughter of the late Alanson and Grace  (McCauley)  Trace. She was a 1938 graduate of Bradford High School.

On August 2, 1946 in Bradford, she married Albert E. Jones Sr., who died on March 2, 2011.

Eleanor was employed as a Painter at Zippo Manufacturing Company retiring in January of 1983.

Mrs. Jones was a former member of the VFW, American Legion, Marche Club and the Eagles Club. She was an active bowler in Bradford, bowling in the Sunday Night Couples League and the Wednesday Night Women's League for many years.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandy (Mike) Butler, of Bradford, and Bonnie Case, of The Villages, FL, one son, Albert "Ed" (Jan)  Jones Jr., of The Villages FL, 8 grandchildren, Randy Sherman, Tyler Sherman, Dr. Kimberly Case, Kristina Osborne, Sandy Colquitt, Robert Jones, Stephanie Jones and Jennifer Jones, and 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Dorothy Bagnato, and three brothers Gordon Trace, Robert Trace, and  Paul Trace.

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday November 7, 2015 from Noon to 2:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., at 2:00pm funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Raymond Gramata, Pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
