Robert Allan Wright

Robert Allen Wright, 60, of 118 Claysville Taylorstown Ridge Road Claysville, formerly of Bradford away Friday, November 27, 2015 in Beaver County.  

Born  January 4, 1955 in Bradford, he was a son of Emma  Marie (Johnson) Wright and the late Norman Wright.

He was a 1973 graduate of Bradford High School. 

On June 12, 1973, he enlisted in the US Navy. He was honorably discharged April 24, 1975. 

After his military service, he returned to Bradford and worked for Owens-Illinois.  In 1977 he was inducted into the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 66.   He worked for many years with the Union throughout Western Pennsylvania and Virginia.  At the time of his death, he was working in Western Pennsylvania as an operating engineer for an oil pipeline company.  

He was a member of The American Legion.  

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Rick (Kathleen) Wright, of Bradford; a step son,Shane Ramser and two nieces, Melissa Kirk of Bradford and Tara (Greg) Johnson of Buffalo, NY. 

He was preceded in death by his father. 

Friends are invited to call from 4-6 PM, Friday, December 11, 2015 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., South Avenue, where a memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM, with Rev. Stacey Fussell, rector of the Church of the Ascension, officiating.  Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the McKean Co. SPCA, Box 113 Bradford, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
