Connie was born in Bradford, Pennsylvania on April 17, 1928 to Kenneth and Lillian Anderson.  She was the oldest of three children.

Her love of music started at an early age encouraged by family gatherings with singing and a variety of instruments played by relatives.  Later in life she took organ lessons and served as the organist at Church of the Ascension in Bradford for many years.

Throughout her entire life, Connie was active in her church and community.   She was a member of the Sigma Alpha Sorority, volunteered in the Bradford Outreach program,  sang in the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford choir, assisted the Kiwanis Club and at Boy Scouting events.  She also taught piano to inspire the love of music in others.   In addition to serving as the church organist, Connie sang in the Ascension choir, served on the altar guild and other church guilds and led the Junior Daughters of the King in addition to the junior choir,

Connie also participated in the Cursillo movement in the Episcopal Church and in 1998 completed the four year Education for Ministry (EFM) program at Ascension.

Later she enjoyed traveling with her husband to Florida, New York City, Hawaii, Vienna Austria and the Holy Lands.  In 2005 she followed her heart and the Lord’s guidance and moved from her life-long family home in Pennsylvania to the Tulsa area to be close to her family.

Connie became a member of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Broken Arrow joining the altar guild and choir.

Connie was loved by many in Bradford and Tulsa and many other places,  She never met a stranger.  People were always touched by her zest for life and her love and devotion to family and friends.

She will be missed.  We know that she is in the presence of God celebrating with all those that she loved and have gone before her.
