Genevieve M. Patterson

Genevieve M. Patterson, 90, formerly of Seaward Ave., Bradford, more recently of Ipswich, MA passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at Merrimack Valley Hospice, Haverhill, MA.

Born January 9, 1925, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Kathleen (Ryan) Scott. She was a 1943 graduate of Bradford High School.

On January 11, 1944 in Bradford she married Edwin A. Patterson who survives.

She had been employed at Zippo Manufacturing for many years.

She was a member of St. Francis Church and Rosary Alter Society.

Surviving in addition to her husband Ed of 71 years, are two daughters Mary Kay Duckstein, of Green Lake WI, Donna (Peter) Fulton of Salem NH, two sons, Ed Patterson of Santa Fe, NM, and Tom Patterson of Chandler AZ, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday December 18, 2015 from 10:00am to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave., where funeral services will be held at Noon, with Rev. Stephen Collins, pastor of St. Francis Church, officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in McKean Memorial Park.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the charity of the donor's choice.
