Shirley A Walter, 80, formerly of Willow Creek, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2015 at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born July 27, 1935, in Bradford she was a daughter of the late William and Agnes (Ambuske)  Wing.

On October 14, 1980, in Dillon SC., she married Norbert Walter who died August 23, 1990.

She was employed as a sales clerk at Browns Boot Shop for over 25 years.

Mrs. Walter was a lifetime resident of the area. She was a graduate of Bradford Area High School, Class of 1953.

Surviving is one nephew John McGriff, and one niece Joyce Kille both of Bradford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband and longtime companion Al Arlia.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave. with Rev. Raymond Gramata, Pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
