Alice I. Goodnoe

Alice I Goodnoe, 82, of 614 Seaward Ave.,passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born December 23, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Elsie (Keister) McWilliams.

On July 10, 1954, she married Richard Ray Goodnoe, who died February 16, 1991.

She was a 1952 graduate of Otto Eldred High School. 

After high school, she worked as a secretary for City Motors, Dresser Clark and Beckwith Machinery. She worked for Corning Glass works, which later became Bradford Electronics from where she retired after 32 years of service. 

She was an avid reader and enjoyed putting puzzles together.  

She is survived by six children, Brenda S. McClintock of Jamestown, NY; Norman R. Goodnoe of Durham, NC, Elizabeth C. (Dan) Prenatt of Youngsville, NC, Laura L. (Eric) Kraus of Elizabethton, TN, Ronald R. Goodnoe and Judy A. (Frank) Autieri, all of Bradford; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, H. Wayne McWilliams and 17 nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her companion; four sisters, June L. Smith, Marion Scott Miller, Wahnetta Langer and Shirley Bouquin and one brother, James McWilliams.

There will be no public visitation.  Private funeral services will be held in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., East Main St., with Rev. Milton Jones, retired Pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
