Harold L. Hostutler

Harold Larry Hostutler, 90, of Tompkinsville, KY, formerly of Bradford, died Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Signature Healthcare of Monroe County in Tompkinsville, KY.

Born April 24, 1925, in Hundred, WV, he was a son of the late Chester and Ethel  Mae (Hixenbaugh) Hostutler.

On May 22, 1948 he married Bonna Lee (Chandler) Hostutler, who died June 20, 2012.

He was retired from Pennzoil Company and was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He loved country music and played in the Happy Ed and Jack band until moving to Kentucky in 2006. He also loved working and being outdoors.

Surviving are three sons Larry (Pat) Hostutler of Murfreesboro, TN, Dennis (Angie) Hostutler of Bradford and Jeff (Sue) Hostutler Port Rickey, FL; two daughters  Tonya (Tim) Murphree of Tompkinsville KY and Tammy Burkett of Morgantown, WV.; a brother , Chet Hostutler of Hundred, WV; four sisters,  Nelda Masters, Carole Smith, Shirley Smith and Marlene; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Tompkinsville, KY.
