Josephine H. "Jody" Hazzard, 90, of 6500 Limestone Run, Limestone, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016, peacefully, at Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born November 9, 1925, in Bradford, she was one of two daughters to the late Raymond and Eva (Walker) Storer. She was a 1944 graduate of Bradford Senior High School.

On June 11, 1945 in the East End Presbyterian Church in Bradford, she married Francis E. Hazzard, who died on September 23, 2008.

Jody was employed as an insurance clerk at Bradford Regional Medical Center, retiring in 1985.

She along with her husband spent 22 years wintering in Sebring Florida.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra K. Hazzard, of Salamanca, and Rona J. (Kenneth) Corbin, of Limestone,  one sister, Marge (the late Jack) Grove, of Bradford, two grandchildren, Brandie L. (Chad) Minier and Francine (Paul) Bussman, two great grandchildren Alexis Minier and Parker Minier, one niece Jill (Jim) Doyle.

At the family's request there will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or a charity of the donor's choice.
