Bonnie N. Walker, 88, of 65 Jefferson St. Bradford, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born March 23, 1928, in Winchester KY, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Bonnie (James) Nelson. She was a 1946 graduate of Bradford High School.

On November 10, 1961 in the First Presbyterian Church, she married Richard W. Walker, who died on June 3, 2014.

Mrs. Walker was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Bell Telephone Pioneers.

Bonnie worked as a supervisor for Bell Telephone for over 30 years.

Surviving is one daughter, Susan Walker, of Santa Cruz CA, and one son, Donald R. Walker, of York, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and twin brothers John C. "Jack" Nelson and James A. Nelson.

At the family's request there will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of family at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
