Carolyn Gatesman
Carolyn Gatesman, 74, of 34 Gates Hollow Bradford, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, at The Pavilion at BRMC.
Born November 30, 1941, in Providence RI, she was a daughter of the late Irene (Benoit) McCarthy and Julius G Boulia. She was a graduate of Lakewood California High School.
On September 6, 1958 in Lakewood CA, she married Richard J. Gatesman who survives.
Carolyn was employed for many years as a saleswoman and later as a manager for the Tupperware Corporation.
She was a member of St. Bernard Church, and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Surviving in addition to her husband Richard, of 57 years, are two daughters, Judith (Tom) MacCabe, of Richmond VA, and Monica Gatesman, of Bradford, four sons Richard J. (Teresa) Gatesman,II, of Woodlands TX, David (Rebecca) Gatesman, of Mechanicsburg, Mathew (Kerrie) Gatesman, of Pittsburgh, and Stephen (Toni) Gatesman, of Whitehall AK,19 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Shirley Guy and one brother Kerry Boulia.
Family will be receiving friends on Sunday May 15, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave. where a prayer service will be held at Monday at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Bernard Church with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor as Celebrant. Committal services and entombment will be in St Bernard Mausoleum.
