Leland E. Hinchman, 80, of 101 Derrick Road Bradford, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born July 17, 1935, in Gifford he was a son of the late Earl Edward and Florence (Messmer) Hinchman. He was a 1953 graduate of Bradford High School.

On July 7, 1960 in the First Baptist Church he married Ruth Ann (Rickerson) who died on April 19, 1999.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, and former member of the Bradford Stroke Group.

Leland was employed for many years at Owens Illinois.

He loved to hunt, fish in Canada, and had traveled to every state in this country.

Surviving is one daughter, Judy Flynn, of Mt. Jewett, one step daughter, Ronetta Vleminckx, and one step son, Ronald Williams, both of Churchill TN, 7 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, Lorraine Colisimo and Althea Clawges, 5 brothers, Bruce, Neil, Gordon, Russell and Jerry Hinchman.

Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday May 17, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., at 7:00pm funeral and committal services will be held with Pastor Jeremy Childs, of the First  Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
