Jonathan M. Knight

Jonathan Michael Knight, 42, of 1487 West 900 N. Wawaka, IN, formerly of Smethport, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at his residence.

Born September 14, 1973, in Bradford, he was the son of Ira R. (Jan) Knight, who survives and the late Marlene (Anthony) Aiken. 

Jonathan graduated from Smethport High School in 1992 and later from Jamestown Community College with his degree in Criminal Justice.

He was formerly employed at the McKean County 911 Center, a Juvenile Detention Center in Elkhart IN, and was currently working as a Case Worker at Indiana Department of Family Resources.

Surviving in addition to his father and stepmother of Smethport, is his Fiancee Jennifer Lee, with whom he resided, two sisters, Jody (Chris Clouser) Rowland, of Oil City, Katie (Matt) Fiscus, of Corsica, his maternal grandmother Shirley (Anthony) Presher of Bradford, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday May 23, 2016, from 12 Noon to 2 PM in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main St., where funeral and committal services will be held at 2 PM with Rev. Dan LaPage, Pastor of the Christian Gospel Church of Coleville, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
