David L. Nolf

David L. Nolf, 68, of 41 Bushnell St., Bradford, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born August 24, 1947, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Clara D. (Hohn) and Waide B. Nolf.

On December 27, 1966 in Gardiner, ME he married Hazel (Coston) Nolf who survives.

Mr. Nolf attended Bradford Area School. He enlisted in the United States Army, and was honorably discharged. He returned home and worked for Halliburton for awhile and then later he worked as an auto mechanic.

He was a member of the Eagles Club, Marche Club, Elks Club, American Legion where he served on the Honor Guard, and was a member of the Special Police.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Leslie Ann Nolf, of Oakland, Maine, Lisa Marie Nolf, of Oakland, Maine, Davina Lee Nolf, of Key West, FL. two sisters, Rebecca A. Sable, of Alverda, and Nancy E. Onuffer, of Bradford, two brothers, James W. Nolf, of Ladson SC; Samuel B. Nolf, of Bradford, 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one infant daughter Norma Diane Nolf.

There will be no public visitation. A celebration of his life will be observed at a later time. Burial will be in Maine. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
