Wendy S. Ward, 60, of Warren, OH, formerly of Bradford, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at her home, after a lengthy illness. 

Born July 29, 1955 in Kane, she was a daughter of the late John R. and Patricia (Benson) Mathys. 

In 1988, she married Levi Ward, who preceded her in death. 

She was a 1973 graduate of Bradford Area High School. 

She was an Elvis Presley Fan, enjoyed fishing and playing bingo. 

She is survived by three daughters, Sherry L. (Stephen) Bradfield of Warren, OH, Menda L. Lechiara of Bradford and Susie L. (Lawrence) Driver of Warren, OH; five grandchildren, Cody, Stephanie, Amber, Preston and Summerr; one great grandchild, Azureia; four sisters, Patricia Fultz Mathys of VA, Leasa (Dennis) Maley of Limestone, Beth (Randy) Race of Bradford and Erin (Chris) Collins of Oswego, NY and four brothers, Robert (Paula) Mathys of TX, Andrew Mathys of FL, John (Paula) Mathys of MI and Steven (Sue) Mathys, also of MI and many nieces and nephews. 

Private funeral services will be held at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.  Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.  Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
