Lorraine O. Knight

Lorraine O. Knight, 82, formerly of 84 Pratt Hollow, passed away,Sunday, June 27, 2016, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born June 5, 1934, in Warren she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Onolee (Knapp) Miller.

On August 7, 1953 in Rew she married John R. Knight, who passed away, July 9, 2006.

She was a 1952 graduate of Bradford High School. 

Mrs. Knight worked as a waitress for a time, then at Speer Resistor, Corning Glass Works, Pensilico and then at Sodexo at Bradford Regional Medical, where she retired after many years of service. 

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She also was active in the Red Hat Society, loved playing cards and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her granddaughter and her children. 

She is survived by a daughter, Marie Y. (Jack) Miller and a son, William Knight, all of Bradford; a granddaughter, Shella M. Huntoon-Bailey; three great grandchildren, Raven L. Zandy, Brianna M. Bailey and Liam J. Chapman, also all of Bradford and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dora Marie  Miller and Linda Jones and two brothers, Blaine  Miller and Bruce Clarence Miller.

Family will be receiving friends from 3-5 & 7-9 PM, on  Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc, 372 East Main St. where funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 30, 2016, with Rev. Matthew Blake, pastor of the Asbury United Methodist Church, officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in McKean Memorial Park. 

Memorials if desired may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
