Kathryn Kit Daulton
Kathryn "Kit" Daulton, 89, formerly of Bradford, passed away July 2, 2016, peacefully in her sleep at Sunnyside Retirement Community, Harrisonburg VA.
She lived there happily with her husband Jack Daulton until his passing in March 2015. Kit's children, grandchildren and her great grandchild were able to visit her in the past weeks.
Kit will be remembered by many in Bradford as an Elementary Librarian where she inspired many children to engage in continuous learning through reading. Kit and Jack were avid readers throughout their lives and their children continue this tradition.
Kit and Jack both donated their bodies to research to help others so there are no memorial services. An intimate brunch was held in Kit's honor at the Joshua Wilton House in Harrisonburg where her grandson, Bill Daulton, is the manager of this Historic Inn. In memory of them please read your favorite book or donate to your local library.
