Victor C. Hopkins

Victor C. Hopkins, 94, of 10 Dennis Lane, Bradford, passed away, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born July 3, 1922, in Warren, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Edna (Osgood) Hopkins.

On April 9, 1948, at the First Presbyterian Church in Allegany, NY, he married Gloria (Wagner) Hopkins who survives.

Mr. Hopkins was a 1939 graduate of Tidioute High School in Tidioute.

He had been employed as a mechanic at Chamberlain Sales, City Motors and Rink Brothers where he retired in 2000 after 17 years of service.

Vic loved antique cars. He enjoyed going to car shows to admire all the restored cars. He was an avid animal lover.

In addition to his wife Gloria of 68 years, he is survived by two daughters, Carol Hopkins (the late James) Kozel, of Waterford, MI, and Judy G. Hopkins, of Bradford, two nieces Teressa (Ron) Bailey of North East, and Audrey (Dennis) Ruhlman of Seneca, one nephew, Paul K. (Carol) Morrison of Canonsburg, three step-grandchildren, and seven step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patricia Morrison.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 16, 2016, from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave., at 11:00am funeral services will be held with Rev. Jay Tennies, pastor of Hill Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
