Carolyn M. Shugars, 69, of 20 Walker Ave., passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born September 25, 1947, in West Hickory, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence L. and Eva (Lindemuth) Tucker.
She was the widow of James Sugars, who passed away January 19, 2007.
She attended schools in West Hickory. She had worked at the Bradford Manor as a Dietary Aide for five years.
She enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling on TV and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three sons James Shugars, Jr., Ronald W. (Jeannine) Shugars, all of Bradford and Dennis (Terri) Shugars of Gillette, WY and two daughters, Cathy Kennedy, and Crystal Griffin, both of Bradford. 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Teresa (Bill) Miller of Bradford; a brother Marshall Tucker of West Hickory and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Laura Koch, Sarah Zuck and Dixie Zuck, three brothers, Sonny Tucker, Archie Tucker and Jim Tucker.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date and location to be announced. Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
