Robert M. Gonzalez

Robert Marce Gonzalez, 57, of 144 Elm Street Bradford, passed away, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Warren.

Born December 25, 1959, in Natrona Heights, he was a son of the late Marcelino and Alfreda (Kuhnert) Gonzalez.

He graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a communications degree and received his Master’s Degree in International Business from Larado State University in TX.

Robert was employed as a Para Professional at Bradford Area School District for over 30 years, ran a landscaping business for 26 years and worked part time at the Pennsylvania State Liquor Store.

Rob was very active in Special Olympics and dedicated his life to special needs students. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins fan and had a love for horticulture and animals.

Surviving in addition to his wife Rebecca, is a sister, Marcia (Steven) Murphey, of Bradford, two brothers, Jack (Jackie) Gonzalez, of Falls Church, VA, and Rich Gonzalez, of Lower Burrell, three nieces, Carley Gonzalez, Madison Gonzalez and Jessica Durci (Leigh) Bigler, 1 grandniece, Brynne Bigler and 1 grand-nephew, Greyson Bigler.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., at 6:00pm a memorial service will be held with Rev. Matt Blake, Pastor of the Bradford Area Parish officiating.
