Susan Doyle

Susan Doyle, 68, of 72 Marion Avenue, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at Bradford Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 5, 1948 in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Francis W. and Mary D. (Bagnato) Looker.

She was a 1966 graduate of Bradford High School and attended Buffalo State University School of Nursing for a time.

She worked at Bradford Hospital in the Admitting office for many years and retired from the Physician Billing Department at BRMC in 2010.  While she worked for the hospital, she also worked in the offices of various physician practices in the area, including Dr. Saraj, Dr. Tahara and most recently, in retirement, she worked for Dr. Gonzalez.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, always putting her family's needs ahead of her own.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and planning family gatherings and running B & J Boutique in the Main St. Mercantile.  Her greatest joy came from caring for her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Gina (Wesley) Horton, of Cranberry Twp. and Mary Doyle, of Bradford; two grandchildren, Brooke Horton and Jocelyn Burgess; a brother, William D. Looker of Bradford; an aunt, Ellen Bagnato of Bradford and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., South Avenue, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, June 21, 2017, followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard Church with Rev.
