Clyde J. Vecellio

Clyde J. Vecellio, 90, of 109 Summer St., Bradford, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born August 19, 1926 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Luke and Annette (DeBouna) Vecellio.

He was a 1945 graduate of Bradford High School.

On November 8, 1945 he enlisted into the United States Army, he served in the Pacific Theatre.  On November 12, 1946 he was honorably discharged.

On August 9, 1952 in Bradford, he married Evelyn (Bell) Vecellio who died August 20, 1999.

Clyde was employed as a pipe fitter at Kendall and later Witco, he retired in 1989.

He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at Witco, the Bradford Moose Lodge, and the Elks Club in Kane.

Surviving is one daughter, Karen (Ron) Carty, of Kane.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four sisters Lucy Vecellio, Alice Vecellio, Linda Vecellio and Flora Vecellio, three brothers, Frank, Joe and Oscar Vecellio.

Friends will be received on Friday August 18, 2017, from Noon to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Ave., at 1:00pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Rebecca Taylor, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in McKean Memorial Park.

Memorials if desired may be made to the McKean County SPCA or a charity of the donor's choice.
