Judith A. Yost

Judith A. Yost, 75, of 177 Summer Street, Bradford,passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born June 4, 1942 in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Evelyn (Wallace) Pascuzzi.

Judy graduated in 1960, the last graduating class from the old St. Bernard's School.

On October 5, 1960 in Pittsburgh she enlisted in the United States Women's Army Corp. She was honorably discharged, March 30, 1962 from Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC.

Judy was a member of St. Bernard Church, a life member and Past Vice Commander of the Disabled American Veterans, and she volunteered at the Willow Creek Triathlon. She was instrumental in establishing the Vietnam Memorial in Veterans Square and the start of the Vietnam Veterans Center in the early 1980's.

Judy had worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for several years in DC and Massachusetts and locally had worked at Bells-Jubilee, K-Mart and retired from Wal-Mart.

She enjoyed gong to bingo, the casino, and in her earlier years, she performed with her father in the Little Civics Orchestra.

Surviving are three daughters, Mary Yost, of Bradford, Tina Yost, of Mankato, MN, and Laura Yost, of Bradford, one son, Steven Yost, of Bradford, nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and infant and Peter Pascuzzi who died January 13, 2004.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday May 7, 2018, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am with Rev. Stanley Swacha, Senior Assistant at St. Bernard Church officiating. Committal services and Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home after the service by member of the American Legion Post #108. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
