Kenneth G. Eddy, 63, of 2 Van Tassel Way in Bradford, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at his home.
Born June 27, 1955, in Bradford, he was the son of Cordelia (Breese) Eddy, of Bradford, and the late Kenneth B. Eddy. He graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1973, where he was a marksman on the championship rifle team.
On Aug. 23, 1975, in Bradford, he married Julie Ann Jackson Eddy, who survives.
He worked many years and earned the role of production manager at Graham Packaging Co. He was then an operator II at American Refining Group Inc.’s Packaging Plant until his retirement May 26, 2017.
Kenny was a member of the Bradford Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Bradford American Legion Post 108. He loved his German shepherds, Ben and Abe, and classic cars. He restored several classics and his black 1982 Corvette was a great source of pride; he took it to many shows in the area. He was just starting and looking forward to restoring his new 1976 Triumph Spitfire. His many friends knew there wasn’t much that he couldn’t fix.
He loved boating and spent many summer days with Julie on their 23-foot, 1990 Sea Ray, the “Leah Marie,” making memories with friends and family at Kinzua Reservoir, especially Cornplanter.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and his wife of 43 years, are his sister Karen Eddy of Cleveland; his daughters Devon Marie (Jeffrey) Kloss and Sara Renee (James Jr.) Furlong; five grandchildren, Brooks Hayden, Leah Hayden, Colin Okerlund, Kenley Okerlund and Jameis Furlong; a niece, Elizabeth Marasco of Boulder, Colo.; a nephew, Eric (Suzi Sager) Marasco; and a great-nephew, Leo Marasco.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave.; funeral services will follow with the Rev. Katherine Randell, co-pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
