Joseph P. Perry, Jr.

Joseph P. "Pat" Perry, Jr., 85, of Greensboro, NC, formerly of Bradford, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Camden Health & Rehabilitation, in Greensboro.

Born May 10, 1935 in Kane, he was a son of the late Joseph P. and Loretta M. (Ryan) Perry, Sr.

Pat was a 1952 graduate of Salamanca High School.

After high school he worked some odd and end jobs, than on June 23, 1954 he enlisted in the United States Army. He served for one and a half years overseas and was honorably discharged on June 6, 1956. 

After the service, "Pat" worked for UPS in Buffalo as a manager and than moved to Richmond, VA where he was employed as a salesman for many years, He than retired in 1987 and returned to Bradford to be near his sister and her family. 

He was a member of St. Bernard Church, and the DAV.  

Surviving is one sister, Mary F. (James VanSickle) Sipko, of Greensboro NC, one niece, Laurie Hall, of High Point, NC, two nephews, Michael G. (Nancy) Sipko, of Bradford, and Stephen A. Sipko, of Big Sky, MT, six grand nieces and nephews, Alysha Piper, Tessa Farley, Seth Hall, Jeremy Sipko, and Damian Sipko, six great-grand nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Nora, Oliver, Ansley, Jackie, and Braden.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in-law, John T. Sipko.

Friends will be invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernard Church at a later date and time to be announced. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
