Charles E. Fulmer

Charles Edgar Fulmer passed away in his home, in Warren, Sunday, December 27, 2020.

He was born the oldest son of 7 children of Edgar M. and Levina P. (Aikin) Fulmer, on January 28, 1945, in Indiana, and attended the Indiana schools.

On October 2, 1992, Charlie married Ann E. Haberstroh who preceded him in death on July 26, 2020, at Bible Baptist Church in York, PA.

Everyone who knew him, knew him as Charlie, and he never met a stranger!  At a young age, Charlie began working to help support his family. He was a hard worker, often working more than one job at a time. He worked for Lancaster Malleable Casting, Manheim Auto Auction, and before retiring, he worked in the hardware department at Walmart on Lincoln Ave., Lancaster.

Charlie enjoyed camping, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.  He was a Master storyteller and could keep children mesmerized for what seemed like hours and making people laugh was another one of his specialties! Everyone who knew him will greatly miss him. Now we know he is running with two legs on streets of gold!

He occasionally attended Bradford Baptist Church, when he was able. There he enjoyed the preaching of God’s Word and the fellowship of the friends that met him there.

Charlie is survived by four children, Jodi (Randall) Sherlin, of Maine, Jason (Megan) Fulmer, of Johnstown, Eric Fulmer, of Ephrata, Abby (Sean) Williams, of Duke Center, step-son Will (Kim) Haberstroh, of Myerstown, two brothers Tinker and Denny Fulmer, of Indiana, and 12 grandchildren Patricia, Randall Jr., Brianna, Blair, Madison, Parker, Jessica, Natalie, Noah, Andee, Willow, Evelyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ann of 27 years, daughter Wendy Fulmer, two sisters Cathy and Mary, and two brothers Bill and Larry.

Friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 4-6PM at the Bradford Baptist Church, 361 Bolivar Drive, Bradford, with a service to follow. Pastor Dan Mills and Pastor Randall Sherlin will be officiating.

Memorial donations, if desired, can be made to the Bradford Baptist Church.
