Letha M. Thomas

Letha M. Thomas, 87, of Boylston St., Bradford, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Bradford Manor.

Born November 24, 1933 in Port Allegany, she was a daughter of the late Kathryn Pearl (Barnett) and Bertram L. Mowery. 

She was a 1952 graduate of Port Allegany High School.

On June 9, 1956 in Port Allegany, she married Armond C. Thomas who preceded her in death on May 10, 2000.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and volunteer at the Red Cross for the Meals on Wheels Program.

Letha had been employed at the American Red Cross, then as office support at Sylvania in Emporium.

Surviving is one daughter, Kathy (Paul) Leschner, of Coolidge AZ, two sons Ronald E. Thomas, of W. Des Moines, IA, and Ernest J. (Pam) Thomas, of Las Vegas, one sister, Shirley (Ron) Coleman, of Canada, three grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one nephew Thomas Mowery and one niece Jackie Blakeslee and a great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers.

Her burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
