Berniece A. McCune

Berniece A. McCune, 79, of Marshburg, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born August 15, 1941 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (McKay) Benson. She attended Bradford High School.

On September 21, 1975 in the Bolivar Drive Baptist Church, she married Ray E. McCune Jr. who survives.

Berniece was employed as bus driver for the Bradford School District for 25 years, retiring in 2002. 

Surviving in addition to her husband, Ray of 45 years, are two daughters, Rhonda (Michael) McGuire, of  Fl, Kim (Mike) Eger, of Bradford, two sons, Randy (Maria) Shine, of Bradford, and David (Holly) McCune, of Biloxi MS, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles, two sisters, Jeanette Patterson and Bonnie Tancar.

There will be no public services. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at St. Bernard Mausoleum.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Butch you and Berniece were very special people in our lives. Berniece was a friend for 57 years. I remember her flower beds. She was a loving and kind person and a good friend.
