James Frisina

James A. Frisina, 64, of 59 Fiske Avenue, Bradford, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Olean General Hospital.

Born September 16, 1956 in Bradford, he was a son of the late JosephA. and Sarah H. (Minor) Frisina. He was a 1974 graduate of Bradford High School.

On December 29, 2007 in Limestone, he married Pam R. (Frutiger) Frisina who survives. 

At a very young age Jim worked for his father Joe at J. A. Frisina Paving a company he and his brother Mark took over after Joe retired. He worked as a paving contractor for over 50 years.

Jim was a former member of the Eagles Club, the Moose Lodge, and the Italian Club. He enjoyed the company of his four dogs, and going to Tim Horton's and John Williams daily. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife Pam is his daughters, Hannah (Christopher Sherwin) Frisina, and Chelsea Mutzabaugh, one son Kyle (Sara Costello) Payne all of Bradford, two grandchildren, Mason Payne and Hailey Payne, two sisters, Carol D. (Matt)  Douthit, of State College, and Catherine H. (Bob) McMillen, of Rochester, NY, three brothers, Joseph H.  (Betsy) Frisina, of Bradford, Carl D. (Jill Tornatela)  Frisina, of Bradford, and Mark W. (Rachel) Frisina, of Bradford, his former sister-in-law Bonnie Frisina, of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother John R. Frisina, who died September 27, 2020.

Friends will be received on Thursday April 22, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., where a prayer service will be held at 10:30am Friday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Bernard Church with Rev. Raymond Gramata, Pastor as Celebrant. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery

Memorial contributions may be made to a Care for Children, or Futures Inc.
