Frederica "Dawn" Blaisdell, 81, of 7594 Rt. 59, in Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Olean General Hospital.
Born December 18, 1939 in Kane, she was a daughter of the late June (Field) Neiswonger and Frederick C. Campbell. She was a 1959 graduate of Bradford High School.
On April 30, 1961 in St. Joseph Church in Mt. Jewett she married Harold "Skip" Blaisdell who died May 26, 2016.
Dawn was employed at Corning Class for 5 years, became a homemaker and later worked at Sena-Kean Manor and Bradford Manor.
She belonged to the Landmark Society and Girl Scouts of America. She enjoyed yard sales, spending time with family, especially reunions and genealogy.
Surviving is one son, Jeffrey (Joan) Blaisdell, and seven daughters, Tina (Darryl) Hilmes, Carla Hervatin, Elizabeth “Renie” (Terry) Fitzgerald, Ruth (Dan) Whitman, Jan (Rod) Marcellin, Tricia Lundgren, and Tammy (Jerry) Barrett, 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Sally Ward, Bonnie Santaniello, and Sandra Pizzi, one brother, Charles Campbell, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Skip, one son Christopher Blaisdell, four sisters, and one brother, and two son-in-laws, Mark Hervatin and Joe Lundgren.
Family will receive friends on Friday April 23, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., at 7:00pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Robert Baldwin, Pastor of the Lafayette Evangelical Church officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Cemetery.
