Cynthia R. Gorr

Cynthia R. Gorr, 78, of Emery Towers, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at UPMC Hamot, in Erie.

Born August 11, 1942 in Olean NY, she was a daughter of the late Orie W. and Frances (Fanton) Bailey. She attended schools in Deposit NY.

On October 1, 1958 in Deposit NY, she married Roland Martin Gorr who preceded her in death in August of 2014.

Cindy was employed for many years at the Hannum Memorial Rest Home, and later as a house-sitter for the Flanigan Family in Bradford.

In her free time she enjoyed baking cakes for area families and her greatest joy was crocheting.

Surviving is her companion, Darryl Pequeen, two daughters, Dawn Goff, of Bradford, Debbie McAdams, of Roscoe, NY, three sons, Robert Gorr, of Smallwood, NY, Donald Good, of Union City and Ronald Good, of Union City, one sister, Gloria Jean Evans, of Richburg, NY, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Lucas Gorr, Richard Good, one daughter, Wanda Caswell, one great granddaughter Savannah Anderson, one great grandson, Kaiden Joseph Goff, two sisters, Sharon Bailey and Sylvia Bailey.

Services are private and at the convenience of family. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Bolivar NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
