Gloria A. Schott

Gloria A. Schott, 80, of 64 Rodgar Lane, Bradford, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Olean General Hospital.

Born in Carbondale, on January 20, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Stanley G. and Tessie (Wnorowski) Bilski.

Gloria was a 1951 graduate of Mayfield High School. She later graduated from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Carbondale. 

On April 3, 1961 in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Mayfield, she married Patrick V. Schott, who survives.

Gloria worked at St. Joseph Hospital and Carbondale General Hospital in Carbondale, the Bradford Ecumenical Home and prior to her retirement she worked as a company nurse at Dresser Manufacturing Company.

She was a member of St. Bernard Church. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband Pat of 60 years, is one daughter, Alicia Schott, of Erie, one son, Brad (Felicia) Schott, of Meadville, two grandchildren, Spencer J. Schott and Evelyn L. Schott, one sister, Christine (Ron) Ryczak, of Mayfield, and one brother, Paul (Priscilla) Bilski, of Carbondale, and one sister in law Linda Bilski, of Sacramento CA, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bob Bilski, and one niece, Kristy Ryczak.
 
Services are private at the convenience of family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
