Theresa Rose Organski

Theresa Rose Organski, 95, of 31 Cornen St., Bradford, passed away at her residence with her family by her side on June 12, 2021. 

Born on September 11, 1925 in Kane, she was a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Fuxsa) Recny. She was a graduate of James City School. 

On March 2, 1946 at St. Callistus Church in Kane, she married Frank T. Organski who preceded her in death on February 11, 2018. 

Theresa was a member of the St. Bernard Church.

She was employed by Corning Glass for many years, then retired from Woolworth's as a Personnel Manager. 

Theresa enjoyed traveling, knitting, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Ann (Kenneth) Coldren, of Bradford, two granddaughters, Valerie (Joe) Furman and Tammy (Pete) Everly, four great grandchildren, Natasha Furman, Anthony Furman, Danielle (Tyler) Switzer and Joelle Owens, seven great-great grandchildren, Braelynn, Brylee and Brentlee Switzer, Je'sai and Mason Brinson, Emma Preston, Fewin Furman, two sisters, Josephine Peterson and Mary (Loren) Gullifer, and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank, brother Nick Recny, and sisters Annie Rolick and Betty Recny.

Friends are invited to a public visitation on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 5-8pm at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Home, Inc., 372 E. Main Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 11am at St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Ray Gramata, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Mausoleum.
