Edith Edie VanGorder

Edith E. "Edie" VanGorder, 64, of 680 W. Washington St., Bradford, passed away on June 17, 2021, at Roswell Park, in Buffalo NY, after a five year battle with ovarian cancer.

Born on May 3, 1957 in Ridgway, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Violet Mae (Senq) Neely. She was a 1975 graduate of Kane High School.

Edie was employed by Bradford Area School District as a secretary at the high school for 32 years, retiring in 2016. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, but most especially spending time with her children, and grandchildren.

Edith is survived by one daughter, Jamie Davis, one foster daughter, Jascinda Buzzelli, three sons, Jeffrey Passmore Jr., William VanGorder, and Shaun VanGorder, five grandchildren, Tyler Kraft, Andrew Kraft, and Nicholas Davis, J.P. Passmore, and Daniel Passmore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Kenneth Neely.

There will be no public services. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
