Robert Allen “Bob” Fotch, 82, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Bradford, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday June 28, 2021.
Born October 28,1939 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Howard and Ann (Rogowski) Fotch. He was a 1958 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
After graduating from high school 1958 he enlisted in the United States Army, he was honorably discharged in 1960.
On December 11, 1960, he married Rebecca Ann Lucas who survives.
Bob was employed by Boise Cascade and Case Cutlery for many years prior to moving to Raleigh, in 1983.
He enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, praying for the sick and leading people to Christ at every turn. He loved to cook and bake and make his famous hot beef jerky. He had a great bond with his dogs, they were always by his side, Clea, Raz, Abigail and Cybil. Fiddling with electronics and anything he could duct tape or glue were his favorite pastimes.
Surviving in addition to his wife Rebecca of 62 years, are five children, Robin (Jason) Basnett, of Raleigh NC, Robert Fotch Jr. of Clayton NC, Renee Fotch of Raleigh NC, Kim (Doug) Barrett, of Bradford, Shawn Fotch of Garner NC, three grandchildren, Colton Eschrich of Bradford, Alyssa and Kyra Fotch of Raleigh NC, and an impending birth of his first great grandson Mason, and many nieces and nephews.
