Pastor Barbara J. Chadwick

Pastor Barbara J. (Hatch) Chadwick, 85, of Limestone Run, Limestone, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at the Pavilion at BRMC.

Born July 12, 1936, in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of the late Zola and Margaret (Lincoln) Combs.

On May 8, 1954, she married Harold Hatch who died on January 15, 1988. On April 7, 1990, she married William Chadwick who preceded her in death on May 7, 2017. 

Barb graduated from Limestone High School in 1954 and Miracle Valley Bible College in 1968. She was ordained in 1970 and founded the Limestone Pentecostal Tabernacle, serving in ministry for over 60 years in the Limestone area. 

She enjoyed flowers, painting and traveling, but her passion was Spreading the Gospel.

Barb owned her own flower shop Arrangements by Barbara and authored three books. 

She is survived by two daughters Noreen (Randy) Watson, of Fort Worth, Tx., Lori (Joseph) DeAngelis, of Bradford, one son H. Keith (Kathy) Hatch, of Bradford, one step daughter Jill (Paul) Ivanich, of Rew, two step sons, Todd Chadwick, of Olean, NY and Collin (Tina) Chadwick, of Fort Mill, SC, two brothers, Larry (Diana) Combs, of Limestone NY and Russell (Renee) Combs, of Pittsburgh, sister-in-law and caregiver Margaret Combs, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Barb is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Harold Hatch and William Chadwick, one brother Leland Combs, and infant sister Rosetta Combs.

Friends are invited to a public visitation on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 10AM to 1PM followed by a funeral service at the Limestone Pentecostal Tabernacle, 6367 Limestone Run, Limestone, NY 14753, with Brother Billy Ladner, officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean, NY. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Limestone Pentecostal Tabernacle, 6367 Limestone Run, Limestone, NY 14753.
