Dominic D. Piganelli


Dominic D. Piganelli, Jr., 64, of 32 Hawthorne Road, Bradford, passed away, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, after a courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. 

Born March 12, 1957, in Buffalo NY, he is a son of Rose (Pascarella) Piganelli, of Bradford, who survives him, and the late Dominic D. Piganelli, Sr. 

He was a 1975 graduate of Bradford High School. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he played basketball, and later transferred  to Lock Haven University where he earned a Degree in Physical Education.

On August 14, 1982 in the Derrick City United Methodist Church, he married Terri (Ward)  Piganelli who survives. 

Dom was formerly employed as a substitute teacher for the Limestone Area School District, and for the last 32 years was the owner of Always Green Landscaping.

He was a member of St. Bernard Church, the LaStella Lodge, and Pine Acres. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, and New York Yankees.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Rose, and wife Terri, one son,  Andrew Piganelli, of Bradford,  three daughters, Kara Piganelli, of Dallas TX, Krista Piganelli, of Erie, and Natalie Piganelli, of Bradford,  one sister, Lynn Mackey, of Burleson TX, and one brother, Bill (Brenda) Piganelli, of Crowley TX, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins,nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Dominic.

Family will receive friends on Friday September 10, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 5:00pm in St. Francis Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. Jim Gutting, Senior Associate, as Celebrant. Committal services and entombment will be in the Piganelli Family Mausoleum in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to Cure Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Foundation (curepsp.org), or a charity of the donor's choice.
