Richard L. "Whytey" Whyte, 70, of 10 Boss Avenue, Bradford, passed away, Friday, September 17, 2021, at his residence. 

Born February 23, 1951, in Bradford he was a son of the late Theodore and Goldie (Hay) Whyte. He was a 1969 graduate of Bradford High School.

On Febuary 23, 1974, in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, in Lewis Run, he married Cynthia (Giordano) Whyte who passed away on January 1, 2018.

Whytey had been employed at Dresser Manufacturing for more than 25 years.

Whytey attended St. Bernard Church. He enjoyed watching football especially the Bills, golfing and golfed in the Dresser League.

Surviving is one daughter, Amy (Jason) Bettum, of Custer City, one son, Casey (Danielle)  Whyte, of Big Flats, NY, five grandchildren, Jayda Bettum, Emma Whyte, Garrett Whyte, Kadence Martin, and Cameron Martin, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, and wife he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Bill and Bob Whyte.
 
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
