Joseph J. Foltz, Sr.

Joseph J. Foltz Sr., 69, of 17 Welch Avenue, Bradford, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Bradford Manor.

Born December 28, 1951, in Indiana, PA, he was a son of Joseph W. Foltz, who survives, and the late Katherine (Shank) Foltz. He was a 1970 graduate of Bradford High School.

On June 19, 1971, in Bradford he married Judy (Kilpatrick) Foltz, who survives.

In 1971, he joined the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 1991 after 20 years of service. He returned to Bradford and worked at Sherman Air-Conditioning, and Zippo Manufacturing.

Joe enjoyed gardening, panning for gold, cooking, genealogy research. He studied and built trains, computers, and robotics.

Surviving in addition to his father Joe, and wife Judy of 50 years, is one daughter, Jennifer (Ben) Heckel, of Bound Brook, NJ, one son, Joseph (Jean) Foltz Jr., of Kane, five grandchildren, Robert, Dylan, Byron, Jarod, and Gregory Foltz, four sisters, Sara Buck, Linda Foltz, Roberta Conner, and Laura Facteau, two brothers, Robert, and Dennis Foltz, several nieces and nephews including Kathy Jo Edstrom, and two grandnieces Courtney, and Mikayla Henry.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and one sister Brenda Foltz.

At Joe's request there will be no public service. Private burial will be held at a later date for family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
