Jeffrey A. James, 62, of 23 Cyclone Trailer Park Rt. 646 Cyclone, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 18, 1959 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Merton A. James and Lila J Williams McLaughlin.
He graduated from Smethport High School in 1977. He attended BOSES in Olean, NY and earned a Nursing Degree. He worked at Sena Kean in Smethport, Harrisburg Manor Care, and ECMC in Buffalo where he worked as a nurse.
On August 21, 2007 in Buffalo, NY He married the late Edwin Williams II who died January 6, 2015.
Surviving in addition to his mother Lila are, two sons Joshua (Sara) James of Franklin, John (Melissa) Himes of Hazelhurst, one son-in-law Randy Coon of AZ, two sisters, Brenda (the late Joseph) Renko of Coudersport and Tammy (Mark) Higgins of Coudersport, three brothers, Bradley (Dawn) James of Rew, and Cory (Laurie) James of Salamanca NY, and Ronald (Christina) McLaughlin Jr. of Port Alagany, one step sister Shelly McLaughlin of VA, one step brother Brian McLaughlin of VA, eight grandchildren, John Himes Jr., Heather Bell, Lisa Kinner, Kathrine Swanson, Nicole Himes, Amanda Sobreanis, Brandon James, and Haily James, six great-grandchildren Madeline Lannager, Brenton Bell, Eddie Kinner, Eli Kinner and Natalie Brinkley, and Kayleigh Sobreanis.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Coon, one great-great-grandchild, Cambree Bell, step-father Ronald E. McLaughlin Sr., and one nephew Heath Renko.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Hilltop Baptist Church. A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, with Rev. Max Simms officiating. Family requests those in attendance to please wear a mask.
