Brenda L. Ruth

Brenda L. Ruth, 78, of 529 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, passed away
Wednesday, November 10, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 16, 1943, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late
Anthony and Bernice (Edinger) George.

She graduated from the Bradford Area High School in 1961 and attended
St. Bonaventure University.

On September 4, 1965, in St. Bernard Church, she married Fred J. Ruth,
who survives.

Brenda, along with her husband, owned and operated several investment
properties in Bradford. In addition, they owned and operated the Fisher Inn for
33 years.

She was a member of the Rotary, Zonta and Lioness Clubs. She
enjoyed cooking, baking and knitting, however, her greatest joy was devoting time to her family.

In addition to her husband Fred of 56 years, she is survived by one daughter, Debra R.
(Edward) Ercegovic, of Mt. Lebanon,  one son, Bradley J. (Beth) Ruth,
of McMurray,  and one brother, Robert A. (Shirley) George of Lake City, five grandchildren: Ryan, Celia, Lydia, Caroline, and Eddie, and two great
grandchildren, Ariston and Maddox, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Steven Scott Ruth.

Friends will be received on Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 2:00pm to
4:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Avenue, Bradford.
Friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on
Monday at 11:00 am in St. Bernard Church, Bradford, with Fr. Jim Gutting,
officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Care for Children, or
any other charity of the donor's choice.
